The First Kaizen Congress organized by the Kaizen Institute of Serbia, was held at the Zira hotel in Belgrade on the 28th of September.

As a Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement, Kaizen has been widely applied in all areas of industry, and its first results have been achieved by application in automotive industry. A great number of participants – representatives of multinational and domestic companies – gathered and exchanged their opinions on identification of critical points, process optimization, cutting delays in logistics and supply chain as a basis of Kaizen learning during the first day of the Congress in HR and Supply Chain Panel.

On behalf of the company Transfera, that supported the Congress as a general sponsor, all attendees were greeted by Mr. Srdan Banovic, executive director of the Client service sector. Giving a very interesting speech, Mr. Banovic pointed to the connection between Kaizen and specialized solutions offered by Transfera to its clients:

We think that this event has remarkable importance because in the future it will gather experts from Serbia and the region who are interested in innovations and improvement of logistics and supply chain processes. This is the reason that Transfera decided to contribute to this initiative. For us, as a logistic services provider, Kaizen is the basic tool in creating tailor-made logistic solutions for our clients. By applying Kaizen principles, we succeed in time optimization of all logistic processes, and that is one of the key factors of the quality service.
