Transfera supported the third regional conference on transport and logistics under the title “The Power of Collaborative Planning: Transport and Logistics for a Resilient Regional Economy” in the capacity of a partner. For the third year in a row, the conference was organized by Confindustria Serbia – Confederation of Italian Industry, Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Slovenian Business Club, Croatian representative office of Chamber of Commerce in the Republic of Serbia, and also, the first time this year, Hellenic Business Association of Serbia.

Transfera keeps playing a key role in the transport and logistics sector, and this year a deputy director of business development, Nikola Bogojevic, was one of the key speakers at the conference. In his presentation, Bogojevic presented the beginning of the e-commerce business and emphasized the importance of cooperation with one of the largest global platforms from China.

“When we started our e-commerce journey, we were determined to approach Chinese platforms, but always encountered the same challenges – the specifics of customs procedures in our region, but also the size of the market that was not attractive to them at the moment”, Bogojevic explained.

Particularly, the emphasis was on the significance of digital transformation in logistics, which allowed faster and more reliable service provisions to the clients, which further enabled Transfera to strengthen its position as a leader in the e-commerce logistics sector in Serbia and the region.

“From the very beginning, we were led by the idea of providing countries outside the European Union with the same opportunities and benefits when it comes to e-commerce. So far, we have successfully delivered more than 1.5 million packages to the Serbian market, and we expect the peak at the end of the year when the holidays are approaching”, said Nikola, emphasizing the success of Transfera’s e-commerce sector.
