Transfera reaches its set goal in record time!

Starting in June 2021., in a record nine months’ time, Transfera finished construction of its first logistics center (TLC1), as part of an even larger project of creating its logistics park (TLP) in the Novi Banovci industrial zone, near Belgrade.

The first logistics center covers a space of 30,000 m2, of which 3,000 m2 are office space, intended for administration purposes, while the rest of the space is composed of storage space, as well as facilities for recreation and relaxation such as restaurants, cafes, cafeteria for employees and a trim track.

The object is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to handle warehousing and storage operations, a Warehouse management system (WMS), with the application of the highest standards of FM global, and one of the priorities is the use of renewable energy sources.

An interesting fact is that most of the materials and equipment for the logistics center were acquired from the company’s clients, which shows a great amount of commitment and willingness for mutual cooperation from our clients and associates.

The entire 53,000m2 of terminal space, on which the TLC1 is built, will be fully operated by the implementing software solutions – Yard management system (YMS) and Dock management system (DMS).

“Despite unfortunate circumstances, such as the coronavirus pandemic and the crisis in the global construction material market, with maximum effort, we managed to complete the project in a very short time span. This project marks the completion of our goal to start a new chapter in our company’s business, in which we will raise the quality of the logistics services we provide to our current and new clients to the highest level”, said Vladimir Radovic, manager of Transferas’ TLC1 project.

Transfera continues its rapid growth, indicated by close to 70mil EUR revenue generated in 2021 and 330 current employees.
