Zmajevci defeated Transfera
The company Transfera continued its practice of participation in humanitarian events and activities. On Sunday (3rd of July 2016), the employees of this company have spent the whole day with the inmates of a Center for Children Without Parental Care “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” and shelter for emergency care for abused children, in the Belgrade suburb of Braće Jerković.
Donations of “Transfera” were used for provision of sports equipment and equipping the sports facilities within the center.
A program was organized in which the teams of “Transfera” and popular Zmajevci (Zmaj-Dragon) competed in football, basketball and volleyball. The winners were awarded medals, and then a lunch was organized.
– Smiling faces of all participants and the positive impressions are additional impulse for “Transfera” and the inmates of the Center “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” hoping that such meetings will turn into a regular practice.
Janko Tabaković, Manager of the Center, emphasized the importance of this visit:
– Children from this Center do not have adequate parental care. Material donations, whose importance is undoubtedly important, are still less important for them. What the kids really crave for is this kind of gestures and opportunities to socialize. The real gift for them is affection. I am glad that “Transfera” helped us to enjoy today in such a great atmosphere.
